Benson Edwinson Phiri

Founder & CEO

Benson is a seasoned mentor and management-business-research-writing-projects coach with 20 years’ experience, knowledge and track-record in research, writing-peer review, leadership-mentorship, executive-project-strategic management/planning, capacity-organizational-consortia development, resource mobilization, policy advocacy, among others.

He is a key player in global, regional and national development, professional, research and writing spheres being research-abstract reviewer (International Council of Nurses-ICN); member ICN Bank of Experts; ICN’s  Global Nursing Leadership Institute alumnus, member of ICN Nursing Practice/Advanced Practice Nurse (ICN-NP/APN) Network Practice sub-group; national Civil Society taskforce on Sustainable Development Goals-SDGs; member of Malawi Union of Academic & Non-Fiction Authors (MUANA), and Malawi Writers Union (MAWU), among others.

Benson holds a MSc Strategic Management; BSc Nursing; Cert. Writing; Cert. Project Management; and certifications in several capacity-development programmes.

JUDITH PANGANI

Deputy Team Leader

Judith is a seasoned Social Scientist, Youth Advocate, and Gender Expert with 15 years of experience in programme and consortia management, mentorship, and community development. Her expertise spans diverse areas, including youth programming, policy analysis, governance, research, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. She is skilled in organizational development, civil society strengthening, business development, and resource mobilization. Additionally, Judith has a strong background in monitoring, evaluation, action & learning, and gender-based violence prevention, particularly addressing violence against girls, child marriage, and sexual & reproductive health rights.
Judith is a sought-after facilitator, keynote speaker, and event organizer. She is highly experienced in leadership, mentorship, and partnership-building, contributing to sustainable community growth and social inclusion. Her academic qualifications include a master’s degree in development studies, a bachelor’s degree in Community Development, a Diploma in Business Administration & Management Studies and Community Based Work with Children and Youth. She has also earned multiple certificates in capacity-building and specialized thematic areas, including Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) by Save the Children, adolescent-focused interventions by PROMUNDO (USA), Leadership for Impact by AMANI Institute (Kenya), and Strengthening Civil Society by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Judith’s dynamic skill set, and dedication make her a valuable force in the fields of youth empowerment, gender equality, and community development.

Dr. Sriyani Padmalatha

Global Research Consultant

Dr. Sriyani Padmalatha is an accomplished nursing researcher, educator, and clinician with over two decades of experience spanning clinical practice, academic leadership, and multidisciplinary health research. She holds a PhD in Nursing from National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, where her research focused on depression and quality of life trajectories among women undergoing breast cancer surgery

MADALITSO IREEN MKATA

Global Health Advisor

Madalitso is a dedicated Mentor, Global Health Leader, Programme Management Specialist & Resource Mobiliser with over 14 years’ experience in large-scale project management targeting marginalized communities in hard-to-reach areas including people living with TB/HIV, children and prisoners. She has work experience in sub-Saharan Africa i.e. Malawi and Sierra Leone, and worked in various non-profit organizations funded by the World Bank, USAID, Global Fund, and TB Reach. She is a trainer of trainers in TB/HIV, RMNCAH-Nutrition, human rights, and advocacy for East and Southern African supported by ARASA.

Madalitso mentors college students globally, prepare them for their first career job;, provides guidance in business i.e. Professional networking and LinkedIn; career planning-goals; Global business communication skills; Job search and interview best practices; Tips on Excelling in the workplace environment. Also trains-mentors health workers, teachers, health-management teams in capacity assessment, professional development, human resource development, policy and service delivery planning.

She holds exceptional skills and competencies in project management, stakeholder engagement, research (including operational research and clinical trials) quality, stakeholder and community engagement, facilitation, monitoring and evaluation.; resource mobilization and grant writing;. She is proficient in computer, written and interpersonal communication, and fluent in English; Chichewa native speaker; French (Beginner), and Krio (Beginner).

Madalitso is a holder of a Master of Science Degree in Global Health Delivery, specializing in Health Management. She is also holds certificates in Gender Transformative Leadership and Effective Project Management.

John Kumwenda is a dynamic professional with over 7 years expertise in microeconomics, statistics, and tech product management. He excels in research, data analysis, business planning, and project monitoring and evaluation, bringing strategic insights to education, labor, agriculture, health, and social development. Proficient in STATA, Excel, and Python, he specializes in data-driven decision-making and visualization.

With a background in Economics, Social Development, and Monitoring & Evaluation, John is a proven leader in driving impactful solutions through research and technology.

Angela

Angellah Lotus Mtambo

Publicity & Marketing Officer

Angellah Lotus Mtambo is a seasoned news-writer, reporter and marketer with 8 years’ experience. She is a well-trained and successfully practicing media personality and a proficient story-writer with a track-record of writing attractive news stories, newsletters, planning, executing research, and report-writing. As a talented radio personality, Angellah is creative, and fluent in English and vernacular languages i.e. Tumbuka, Lambya and Chichewa.

Due to her exceptional performance, Angellah has received prestigious recognitions i.e. Ambassador for Zathu pa Wailesi. Angellah holds a Diploma in Journalism, and certificate in Media Research.

Victoria Luhanga

Focal Point – Centre

Victoria Luhanga is a Researcher, Nurse Midwife, ART-PMTCT & Palliative Care provider with 10 years’ experience, track record and knowledge in the nursing and health sectors. Victoria is experienced in all aspects of nursing and midwifery i.e. labour and delivery, and community nursing. She is experienced in HIV and AIDS management, including ART, PMTCT and Palliative care. Victoria also has research skills i.e. data collection, analysis, critical review of literature, report writing, and presentation skills. Victoria has cumulative experience in the public health sector both in the clinical, community and education settings as well as operating at district and central (tertiary) hospitals, accordingly.

She is a team-player, excellent communicator who is committed to work and results-oriented. As such, her cumulative experience makes Victoria fit for any similar or related work or education roles to which she is ready to transfer or improve the knowledge, skills and experience generated and shared over the years.

Victoria holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing & Midwifery, Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery, and other professional certificates in Key population care, ART, PMTCT, and Palliative care.

Evidence Shaba

Focal Point – North

Evidence holds a Bachelors in Public Health; and studying for Master in Public Health – Epidemiology & Infectious Diseases, currently studying Masters in Public Health – Epidemiology & Infectious Diseases.

Capacity building certifications include:  Certificate in Clinical Basics of Infectious Disease, MZUNI, UNILIA, Germany (2024); Certificate in Project Management Monitoring and Evaluation, Shape Research, (2023); Certificate of Attendance in Taiwan Africa Nursing and Health Care Exchange. (2023).

Whereas, her research experiences includes: Data Collection and Entry using REDCap, ODK Collect/Kobo Collect,  ComCare, and Proposal writing. Evidence is very conversant with statistical packages such as SPSS, and STATA.

STELLA BANGULA

Admin & Focal Point – South

Stella is a researcher, monitoring and evaluation and projects’ associate with 8 years’ experience spanning research, project management, secretarial/clerical, monitoring and evaluation, and early childhood development. She has experience in research i.e. data collection, data entry using digital tools i.e. Kobo, as well as data cleaning. Additional experience includes project management i.e. overseeing field staff and ensuring operations are running smoothly and according to plan; ordering, checking, packing, and dispatching equipment and supplies to the field.

Furthermore, Stella holds particular administrative-secretarial-clerical experience i.e. typing, filing, setting-up equipment, photocopying; funds advance management and reports.

Stella is certified and has acquired variety of skills in capacity development programmes i.e. Monitoring and Evaluation in Global Health; Early Childhood Development: Montessori Education; Certificate and Advanced Certificate, respectively.
